What DECA graduates say….
Filed under: Uncategorized; No CommentsDECA was so much fun; I wish I had done it all 4 years! I met lots of new people and we got to do so many things!
~Marissa Boisvert, Class of 2011
It’s the experience you get from doing DECA. There is so much more about the trips and the meetings that you just have to experience for yourself to be able to understand how great it is. DECA is one of my favorite activities that I joined at John Stark and I highly encourage you to get some of your friends together and join. It’s really worth it and even if you’re not sure if you’ll enjoy it, just give it a shot. That’s what I did and I ended up loving it and I really believe that you or anybody else would feel the same.
~Allie Dahl, Class of 2011
I wish I knew more about DECA my freshman year. I had so much fun at the DECA conference. I love DECA and wish I joined freshman year!

At DECA you will meet so many new people and have so much fun. At states you do a lot of fun activities and learn helpful tips for the working world. The DECA meetings are fun and I never knew how much I would enjoy DECA until I joined!

~Jackie Oliviera, Class of 2011
DECA is way more fun than I initially thought it would be and I wish I joined my freshman year. There’s no need to be scared of the competitions because they give you a huge confidence boost. Definitely check out the entertainment they offer at the state conference because it is such a good time!
~Maegen Nickerson, Class of 2011
If I would have known about DECA when I was a Freshman I would have been a member all four years. I waited till my senior year to join, and honestly had the best time of my life. The competitions are really fun, I thought it was going to be a stressful event but even after I graduate I am going to remember DECA and every part about it. If you’re trying to be part of a team, or want to be a part of something, DECA is the place to be.
